Design tools have evolved significantly since the technologies of orthographic projection were developed, bringing about new modes of representation and radically transforming design practice. The digital tools commonly employed by architects have simultaneously become more demanding and more powerful, sparking new modes of practice and challenging the very foundations of our discipline.
