Using the four renderings from the previous exercises, add detailed entourage to each scene to add to the project narrative and theme of each rendering. Using furniture, scaled figures, and appropriate additional material from your own vision of the 1960's, work within the lens of the Case Study House projects and the era in which the projects were designed and built. Illustrate the renderings in a way you imagine the house being used in the 1960's - either realistically or according to your own idealization of the time. | |

Uses Workflow(s) |
Using Photoshop and Illustrator additional post processing work will be done to the existing interior and exterior renderings of the Case Study House Projects. Using scaled figures, period furniture, plants, etc. the renderings will become rich and descriptive scenes that will support the narrative of each individual project. Take care to find scaled figures that are appropriate for the time period of the 1960's and 70's, adding each peace of entourage intentionally to enhance the project.
Each Photoshop file should demonstrate an understanding of layer hierarchy and organization. The use of layer masks and adjustment layers ensures that the images used will be edited in a non-destructive manner, and care should be taken to make sure that the renderings are created in a careful and precise manner.
