Strange Fruit introduces students to the general methodological pattern adopted by many studio projects. A short, graphic-intensive warm-up, through this project students will demonstrate basic proficiency in orthographic projection, analytical methods, and design through iteration.
Assessment objectives
  • A basic fluency in orthographic projection techniques and hand-rendered drawings.
  • The ability to describe abstract relationship using graphic notation.
  • The creative application of formal analysis techniques in the service of design invention.
