Simple Grasshopper Exercise

Using the knowledge of Grasshopper that you've recently attained, please complete the following exercise in 30 minutes.
Assessment objectives

Assessment objectives include:

  • Ability to create a simple definition in Grasshopper
  • Understanding of Grasshopper Interface and component options at your disposal.

There are 3 steps to complete the entire exercise, including an extra credit option. The steps include placing a specific-sized box on the center point of a surface, finding the vertices of the surface and adding identical boxes to those points, and then extruding the surface a specifc amount in the z-direction and using the boxes to conduct a boolean difference operation on the newly created polysurface (brep in grasshopper). These instructions are included within the grasshopper file in panels.
