A broad-strokes overview of NURBS geometry, including its history, technical definition, and common applications.
Rhino I: Three Approaches to Digital Modeling
Here we present three general approaches to digital modeling - Extrusion , Solid Body , and Wireframe - discussing dominant approaches, typical applications, and common tools inherent to each. The three approaches discussed here are not meant to be exhaustive, but rather to serve as a guide to the novice user of 3d software and as an illustration of the interrelationship of tools and methods.

- 3d Massing Models : 3 Different Ways
- This workflow will showcase three different modeling strategies for creating abstract models exhibiting double negative space. These three different methods cater to different surfaces tools in Rhino as well as different formal and spatial strategies. One method focuses on using solid geometry, one method focuses on created curvy lofted forms and the last one focuses on creating extruded volumes from existing linework.
