Learning Objectives The lecture for this week will cover good drawing standards and techniques. Precedent examples are used to help students learn conventions and how to generate legible orthographic drawings. Working in Rhino and Illustrator, the workflow will establish a framework for the students to complete the in-class exercise. Emphasis is placed on on drawing standards, layer management, and efficiency.

Workflow 5 - Cleaning Up Drawings in 2D Rhino + Illustrator
This workflow emphasizes precision, accuracy and organization to create a finished, "clean" drawing. Starting from a somewhat finished digital drawing, we will re-organize and clean up existing linework in the most efficient manner. Custom alias usage will be introduced.
Exercise 5 - Cleaning Up a Section in Rhino + Illustrator
Continuing with Rhino, students will complete the Tel Aviv Museum section. Final drawing should be exported and adjusted in Illustrator.
Students are to submit final drawings with layers preserved, in PDF format, no later than 1159 pm on Friday the 20th to either the SUBMISSIONS folder on Dropbox or BSpace.
